Everything excellent, but breakfast wait.

The Clerk & Well Pub And Rooms has a charming decor, blending modern comforts with traditional Victorian features. The staff were exceedingly helpful and attentive, creating a welcoming environment that made my stay exceptionally enjoyable.

Stairs can be quite challenging for seniors.

I felt the hotel could have communicated better about these issues before arrival. Nevertheless, the pub downstairs had a great atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with a drink after a busy day.

but the stairs to get to the rooms are realy steep, and breakfast service was kinda slow, we had to wait ages for food.

The room had a flat-screen TV, a coffee machine, and a fridge stocked with complimentary water and milk. Breakfast was a treat with a Full English and fresh pastries, and the pub downstairs had a great vibe.
